I just finished a bulky version of this hat in under 4 hours. I used Lion’s brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn. With the extended length there was no yarn left for pom pom but the hat still looks great with the folded rim. Tips on finished measurements and how to close the tiny hole at the top of hat was especially helpful. Thanks again!

I love your work, I have made so many of your patterns! I’ve just finished my ribbed pom pom beanie, I really like the way it turned out! I’ve used an even bulkier yarn than yours, and 8 mm hook + a king size pom pom, so it’s soooooo warm and cozy 🙂
