Hi!
What does R1-5, R6-21 mean?? Sorry but I’m relatively new to this.. lol. Also, do you have a link for making Pom poms? And you mentioned you used different wool for them..would you do this for a baby boy as well?

In reply to Danielle. You know what, I didn't actually switch yarns and it was ALL knitted from the same skein! I used Wool-Ease Thick & Quick "Stripes" in the colourway "Hoyas", so that striping happened naturally! Neat, hey?

Could you tell me, in the gray beanie when you switched from solid to stripe after the brim, how many rounds you did in the stripe before switching back to the solid?

Hey Irini! This pattern is possible for a beginner! Personally, I started off knitting flat items (I have a Simple Knit Series here you can check out: http://www.allaboutami.com/knitting-beginners-knit-garter-stitch/ Working around circular needles is a little different, but very possible to learn! Once you learn how to knit with circular needles, this is a great beginner pattern!
